The thoughts of starting a business started with asking myself one question. What would I do to make a decent living if I did not have degrees attached to my name? The idea of starting a candle company originated from my love for candles. It is something that has been on my mind since 2019 when I asked myself the above question. After suddenly being thrust into lockdown, I needed to find a way to release the added daily stress. My love for candles intensified during that time. It became a daily ritual to light a candle every day after work. Before I knew it, candles became my Exutoire, the outlet I needed to release the stress.
The more I lit candles, the more the thoughts of starting a candle business occurred. I began to conduct research, experiment, and conduct some more research. I soon found a method that works. Exutoire began by pouring one small wax pitcher at a time
Exutoire was born with a focus on offering superior products while using sustainable materials to help conserve the environment. We use an all-natural luxury coconut wax that is environmentally friendly. Our wicks are self-trimmed and designed to promote a consistent burning flame. We use phthalate-free fragrance oils, and we sourced recyclable packaging. Our products are eco-friendly, cruelty-free, not tested on animals, and handcrafted.
